  • The Petoskey Chamber was in Lansing last week, as part of the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance, advocating for Northern Michigan and continuing our work to build thriving economies and vibrant rural communities.

Northern Michigan was well represented in Lansing this week! ???? Alliance partners had a packed two days during the State of the State festivities. We met with our regional legislators and key leaders—including Speaker Hall and House Floor Leader Bryan Posthumus—to advocate for critical appropriations that will benefit Northern Michigan. We were also thrilled to continue our annual tradition of providing lunch to the Executive Office of the Governor ???—a meaningful opportunity to connect and share how our Alliance is working to build a thriving economy and vibrant rural communities. ?? Not everyone made it into the photos, but we appreciate all eight partners who joined us from across northern Michigan and the U.P. for these important conversations! #Advocacy #RuralProsperity #StateOfTheState #NorthernMichigan #EconomicGrowth
