We were delighted to welcome our client Dana Petroleum Limited with a delegation from South Korea to our Torry Marine Base facility as part of a shared learning visit with the Port of Aberdeen. The group, which included CEO Jongweon Choi, had a tour of our quayside operations, as well as insight into our Control Tower approach as part of the visit which was focussing on port design, development, and operations. Our Joint Managing Director UK Chris Coull and Coast Offshore Managing Director Andrew Wilson are in Japan this week on a trade mission with Scottish Development International. The visit is connecting Scottish energy’s expertise to the burgeoning renewables market in Japan. The trip includes visits to companies operating in the space, as well as being part of the Scottish pavilion at #WindExpoJapan in Tokyo. Chris said: “This is an incredibly valuable experience to understand this market and how our world-leading logistics, technology, and supply chain solutions services can add value to their ambitions.” Andrew said: “The offshore wind industry is still in its early stages and it is fantastic to have opportunities like these to collaborate and share lessons on a global scale so we can continue to grow this industry as we progress through the energy transition.” The Scotland Pavilion can be found in area E23-22 of the conference. #windenergy #sdi #scottishdevelopmentinternational #renewables
