关于我们
Peterson Structural Engineers was incorporated in 1997, however our roots go much deeper. The company originally began in 1967 by Gary Peterson, whose fastidiousness set the stage for the principles in which the company continues to pride itself – integrity, dedication, and quality workmanship. Since incorporating, we’ve increased in both size and engineering capability, learning to serve a wide variety of large and small clients on nearly all types of projects. To this day, our heart and soul lies in the people of PSE and our commitment to excellence. The basis for each and every project – big or small - lies in our ability to provide our clients with an honest, thoughtful, complete solution. We don’t cut corners. We look at the big picture and how this affects all those involved – whether it be 5 years down the road or 50 – we provide a complete solution that is customized for each client and project. That’s why our clients continue to come back time and time again. Over the years, PSE has accumulated a wide range of project history and diversity. With that comes a deep knowledge for how to successfully solve complex problems. Bring on the challenge! We’ve even been known to bring some magic to life at some of the world’s most renowned theme parks! PSE holds engineering licenses in over 30 states, territories and provinces. Regardless of the project or location, PSE is ready to provide our clients with high quality structural engineering design and consulting services for a wide variety of project types.

Roof with a view!?Not only does the 1.29 MG steel water storage reservoir in Renton, WA showcase a beautiful mural, its roof (towering at a height of 100’) has quite the view of the Puget Sound. The reservoir sits atop an extensive pile-supported mat foundation that was required to accommodate the site soil conditions. The 50’ diameter, 100’ tall reservoir provides the City’s Kennydale area with improved water supply reliability, increased storage capacity for fire and potable use and enhanced seismic resilience. PSE served as the structural designer for the reservoir, foundation, and site retaining wall and is proud to have been a part of the project team.

Peterson Structural Engineers, Inc. is gearing up for the American Water Works Association ACE 24 Conference in Anaheim, CA!?Ethan Alton, PE, SE, Sr. PM, will be co-presenting about the Cascade Ground Water Alliance And Building The Tallest Prestressed Reservoir On The West Coast. The Cascade Groundwater Alliance is a partnership between the City of Gresham and the Rockwood Water People’s Utility District to establish self-sufficient ground water supply for their customers. The Alliance adds resiliency and cost efficiency to their systems. The Cascade Reservoir No. 2 is a 6.0MG, 66ft tall AWWA D110 prestressed concrete reservoir - roughly double the height of a typical reservoir of its type, which led to unique design requirements and construction practices. The presentation will cover the planning, design, and construction of the reservoir, as well as its function in the program.?We hope to see you there!
