From Castle Rock, Colorado, Mallory shares her home with two spoiled pets, Jelly and Cleo. She’s passionate about breaking the “boring, cranky accountant” stereotype, and her enthusiasm for numbers is matched by her love for creativity, whether it’s crocheting, gardening, reading, or making memories with her family. ? That Monday morning feeling after Daylight Savings Time? Yeah, dogs get it too. ?????? Is your pup staring at you like, “Why is dinner late?” or pacing by the door because walk time feels off? A University of Toronto study tracked sled and companion dogs before and after the "fall back" shift. Working sled dogs got extra active before their handlers arrived like they knew something was off—but adjusted within a few days. Companion dogs? No big changes, except senior pups slowed down a bit. Our incredible Meadowlake Pet Resort team, represented by Angela and Dawn, had a fantastic time at The Dog Gurus Pet Business Growth Workshop in Fort Worth, Texas. This event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow pet care professionals, exchange ideas, and gain insights to continue elevating our services.? From meeting new faces to catching up with industry friends, the workshop reinforced the importance of collaboration and continuous learning in pet care. Launch Paw-ty in Bentonville! ???? What an incredible weekend! Paws ‘N’ Rec Bentonville officially opened its doors, and we couldn't be more excited. From the ribbon-cutting with the Chamber of Commerce to Mayor Stephanie Orman stepping in to walk training dogs through our course, the community really showed up—and so did the energy! With over 135 tours and 250–300 attendees, it was a celebration of connection, pet care, and all things pawsitive. This isn’t just an opening—it’s the start of something amazing! Bentonville is ready for top-tier pet care, and we’re ready to deliver. Huge thanks to our incredible team for setting a new standard, and to everyone who came out to support us—we’re just getting started! Their Sweetheart for Shelter Dogs program, in partnership with the APA of Missouri, brought smiles to pups still waiting for their forever homes. Pet parents joined the fun by sending a gourmet treat and a heartfelt note to a shelter dog, making their day a little sweeter. But what truly makes us proud is the heart behind it all. Williamsburg’s team and community showed what it means to spread love beyond their walls. ??
