We are so proud to launch our PLAY pH matched, flushable, biodegradable, plastic neutral wipes into the market as a partnership with our friends at biom. Designed in the ???? and made in the ????. Sourcing the best ingredients and sustainable manufacturing capabilities are at the core of every product we produce at Personal Fav Co.? Since launch, our customers have asked for a wipe to add to their intimate hygiene routines - after getting costing for wipes with substrate formulations that didn’t feel up to our standards for several years, we shelved the product development on this wipe for a moment due to simply not finding what we were looking for.? Cut to July 2023, on a blisteringly hot day in New York City, I had convinced our founder friend Will Gahagan from biom to come to town to join me for a CPG conference.? We subsequently left said conference after a couple hours, spent the entire day ideating on how to better both of our businesses efficiencies, and realized how aligned our company’s visions are in disrupting each of our categories with better-for-you options.? By the end of the day, we decided it made sense from a brand ethos perspective that biom was the perfect manufacturing partner for Personal Fav Co. Fav to move forward with a wipe product.? PLAY is available NOW through our website www.personalfav.co and will be available in several retailers and channels over the coming weeks - will keep you updated, as these go live. ?? If both Deloitte and McKinsey & Company are publishing reports in 2024 making the case for investing in women's health as a legitimate investment thesis with successful rounds and returns to now point to (Midi Health, The Honeypot Co. etc.), how else are we as founders/innovators in this space to get more male investors interested in backing femtech founders? Curious for investors both angels and VCs to honestly answer this. (Please feel free to DM me, if you don't want to comment on this post.) "One female investor we interviewed said her male counterparts tend to shy away from investing in, or even talking about, women’s health. Often, they simply don’t seem to understand the value proposition, she explained."
