We wanted to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas. We don’t know about you, but our team can hardly contain our excitement for all the festive fun! On that note, in anticipation of Santa’s arrival, our office will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25. We'll be back on Thursday, December 26, ready to close out 2024. This Halloween, we want to encourage everyone to prioritize safety, as the holiday presents its own set of risks. In fact, 3,200 Americans visit the emergency room due to Halloween-related injuries each year. Swipe for a few tips to consider, and feel free to share these with your network as well ?? Keep in mind that it’s important to always supervise young children, whether they are trick-or-treating or carving pumpkins. For older children, encourage them to stay in a group and check in throughout the night. As always, if you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. As we transition into fall, deer are more active, especially during dawn and dusk. With that in mind, it’s important to be extra vigilant on the roads throughout the season. Here are some tips to keep you safe: 1?? Drive slowly, and stay alert. Reduce your speed, especially in rural and wooded areas. 2?? Always scan the shoulders for deer. At night, watch for the reflection of deer eyes in your headlights. 3?? If driving at dawn or dusk, use your high beams when appropriate to increase visibility. 4?? It may be tempting, but try to avoid swerving. If a deer appears, it's much safer to immediately brake and hit the deer than to swerve and risk a more serious accident. 5?? Keep an eye out for more deer. Where there’s one, there are usually more. If you have an incident with a deer and need guidance on filing a claim, we are always here to help. Stay safe and drive carefully this season.
