Our SW Washington Advisory team is packed with heart and expertise, making a difference for businesses and their owners in countless ways. With a 15-year tenure at Perkins, Jennifer (Jen) has taken her knack for fixing messy books to a whole new level. Now, she's not just solving accounting puzzles for clients—she's also the leader of our Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice and actively growing new service lines at the firm. When working with clients, Jen shines in QuickBooks integrations, inventory management, and accounting system overhauls—always keeping her lucky blue ladybug plushie nearby on her desk. Off the clock, Jen enjoys paddleboarding and exploring the beautiful PNW. From valuations to transaction advisory services, Paris is an expert guide for clients navigating complex transitions. She is an active WSU alum (go Cougs!) and always gives back to the community she loves. She's passionate about building relationships that make a difference and thrives on helping clients and colleagues tackle challenges with confidence. In her free time, she might be swing dancing, baking sourdough, or hiking with her family! Combining deep expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and process improvement, Teresa is a pro at improving processes and aligning operations for long-term success. Heavily involved in her community and a dedicated member of several local societies and associations, Teresa is committed to making a difference no matter where she is. Outside of work, Teresa's competitive spirit shines as part of the Vancouver Toss & Fetch Disc League, where she and her dogs bring their A-game to weekly competitions. Adrienne brings expertise in supporting bookkeeping processes across various industries and developing systems and structures that keep everything operating at their best. In addition to supporting clients with their operations, Adrienne devotes much of her time to refining the systems and processes that keep our CAS department running seamlessly. Say hello to Lisa, Mindi, and Jacob (Jake)—our dedicated audit pros making waves in SW Washington. From diving deep into financial statements to advising clients on their next business moves, this crew knows how to get the job done! A cornerstone of our team, Lisa's background spans financial reporting, business valuation, and supporting local manufacturing. She treasures her journey with the firm, watching it grow from around 30 employees to over 200 since the early days of her career with us. A long-time leader at Perkins, she's passionate about seeing clients and employees grow and succeed. And if you're involved in Vancouver's business community, you'll likely see Lisa offering her insights on a board or finance committee. With expertise spanning fund accounting, real estate, and construction, Mindi brings a sharp eye for detail to every engagement. And while she's left her competitive rodeo days behind and traded her lasso for fishing rods, Mindi still ropes in wins for her clients with her commitment and industry knowledge. When she's not in the office, you might catch her exploring Vancouver's waterfront or reeling in fish from the exotic reefs of Mexico. From helping startups streamline processes to guiding companies through SOC audits, Jake's specialties in tech, SaaS, and consumer products make him a pro at boosting efficiency. Fun fact? He's all about defying the "boring accountant" stereotype with his fresh perspectives and upbeat approach!
