Period Kits Colorado

Period Kits Colorado is very happy to be donating 80 kits to Punk Rock Saves Lives for their Punksgiving event on November 20th! For this event, they have the goal to feed 75 needy families for this Thanksgiving. Entry to the event is free with a donation of an unwrapped toy or winter coat to be used for their Punk Rock Saves Xmas event! Punk Rock Saves Lives is an initiative in the music community that uses music to promote awareness and action on health, equal rights, and human rights. Collaborating with artists, we amplify messages of hope and activism, harnessing the community's ethos of mutual aid and solidarity to drive positive change.

We have eight weeks in our product drive against Period Kits Ohio! If you have any product you would like to donate, please bring them to any of our drop off locations! We are also working on getting a few more drop off locations and are hoping havhave some fun fundraising events in the coming weeks. Keep your eyes open for updates! ??

Join us for an exciting product drive competition between Period Kits Ohio and Period Kits Colorado! We’re collecting menstrual product donations until December 29th, coinciding with the Denver Broncos' matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Be on the lookout for dropoff locations so we can take period poverty together!!

Thank you to everyone involved for making our kit building event a huge success! With everyone's help, we were able to make 170 kits to give to Florence Crittenton to benefit local teen mothers in need. Thank you to YuQi with Copper Door Coffee Roasters for offering us the location and the DU Women in Business for hosting us! Florence Crittenton is a local nonprofit that has been serving the Denver area since 1893. They work to educate, prepare, and empower teen moms and their children through education, health and wellness, post-secondary preparedness, and basic and emergency needs support. Meet our team: Executive Director Sara Davis Sara Davis graduated last year with a Bachelors in Finance and currently works as an accounting specialist. She also has a degree in psychology and a passion for mental health advocacy. She has a personal understanding of the struggles of period poverty and lack of access that makes her dedication apparent in the work she does with Period Kits. She's seen the changes that Period Kits Colorado has gone through since it's infancy and is excited to see the great things that she knows we will do in the future. In her free time, she likes to play video games, read, and travel as often as possible.
