We're happy to announce Damaris Argurcia, RDH as our winner of the "All Things Purple" basket! Hear what her team has to say about her, and what makes her a fantastic hygienist! #1, She's funny. This may seem like a silly reason, however working with someone with exceptional humor not only makes the day go by great for her coworkers but also makes the patients feel much more at ease! She goes beyond just having a positive attitude- her energy fills a room and brightens our smiles just as much as her hygiene skills do! #2 - she's grown so much in her time with us the past three years. Always helping research the best protocols for care (including Perio Protect!). Educating patients in a comfortable manner that's not berating them. She's really come into her element and as her OM and friend I am so proud of her! Both of our doctors and the whole team feels the strongly about this! #3 - She makes really cute scrub caps! #4 - She helps us figure out what the heck to do with Instagram and TikTok. #5 - She is never the type to tell anyone no, always willing to help with assistant stuff or front stuff if needed. Taking on an extra patient here or there if time allows. Taking extra time with patients who need it. There's definitely more, however I'm not sure you all want to read an entire novel! Oh, and we usually end each morning huddle with an enthusiastic "GO DAMARIS!"... it's an inside joke and huddle wouldn't be the same without it. Join us in celebrating Damaris!
