Earlier today, PFG kicked off the holiday season by donating and delivering 250 Thanksgiving meal kits to GoochlandCares clients. The meal kits were handed out by PFG volunteers and included everything needed to create a wonderful Thanksgiving meal! Since 2013, PFG has supported GoochlandCares and its clients by providing more than 2,000 turkeys and Thanksgiving meals. #ProudtobePFG #Thanksgiving

Black River Produce, one of our Performance Foodservice locations, partnered with Dream Maker Bakers for Rutland, Vermont’s 3rd Annual Whoopie Pie Festival. They broke the world record with a massive 1,187-pound whoopie pie, surpassing the previous 1,106-pound title. Black River Produce managed the challenging transportation, where one wrong turn, harsh brake, or big bump could have spelled “game over.” Over 7,500 attendees witnessed and tasted this feat. Black River looks forward to collaborating with Megan's team next year. #ProudToBePFG
