Earlier this month, our team had the opportunity to participate in the annual Builders Guild of Western Pennsylvania Build On event for the fourth year in a row! This career workshop is designed to expose students and the public to different types of career paths, as well as educational and training opportunities available in the construction, union, laborer, and other allied industries. This two-day workshop was a great opportunity for our team to connect with the over 2,700 Pittsburgh area students and 200 members of the public who attended, including PA Governor, Josh Shapiro! This week was busy for our team at recent Fall for Food Banks volunteer events! Our Peoples team volunteered at Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to stock the food bank market and assist shoppers through the market, while our Delta team of volunteers served groceries to 80 individuals in need with Dayspring Food Pantry. This America Recycles Day, we are proud to share our partnership with Pennsylvania Resources Council’s award-winning glass recycling program! PRC’s network of permanent and traveling glass bins recycles 99% of glass collected, much of which is back on shelves in local stores within 30 days. This Veterans Day, we proudly stand with all those who have served our country. We are especially grateful for the opportunity to support veterans organizations and events, including Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum Trust, Inc., Pittsburgh Hires Veterans, and flag plantings in cemeteries for veterans.

Earlier this month, a group of employees volunteered their Saturday for Project Bundle-Up, The Salvation Army Western Pennsylvania Division’s partnership with WTAE Hearst Pittsburgh! For this event, volunteers shopped for winter clothes for children in 5 different locations across Western PA, ensuring children in low-income households have the clothing they need during the winter months. Earlier this week, we shared Essential’s third quarter earnings results on our earnings call. This quarter we saw success with the PUC approval of Peoples Natural Gas rate case and a settlement reached for Aqua Pennsylvania’s rate case, with a final order anticipated for February 2025. These were two prominent initiatives for the company this year, which allows us to reinstate a multi-year #earnings guidance of 5-7% through 2027.
