On 30 October 2024, Lt Col David Alt and Sara Simoes accepted awards on behalf of EIDS at the GOVTECH Connects Digital Health Summit in Falls Church, Virginia. The Digital Health Transformation Award is presented to Federal and Military Health IT Programs using emerging technologies to enhance their mission and to recognize the dedicated teams responsible for its success. EIDS PMO and the EIDS Data Quality and Integration team received awards for their outstanding contributions toward the future of IT health data delivery. Dr. Jesus Caban served as a Keynote Panelist during the summit.
