Raúl's practice explores the intercommunication between people and their environment through sculptural sound installation. “Beneath the Surface: Transcendental Rhythm in 6/8” explores the transformation of a utilitarian object, such as a Remo drum wrapped in Ghillie, into vessels for sound. We are thrilled to celebrate La Vaughn Belle’s powerful installation, THE HOUSE THAT FREEDOMS BUILT, at the Cooper Hewitt Museum!
