A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PYP members who volunteered with us this weekend for November Service Saturday! We had an incredible time volunteering with the UWF Historic Trust to assist with The Blue Trees: Environmental Installation, a thought-provoking art project brought to life by renowned artist Konstantin Dimopoulos. ?? ?? Meeting Konstantin himself was a true highlight! He shared insights about his environmental art installation, which shines a light on global deforestation and the importance of sustainable natural resources. With the help of our volunteers and an environmentally-safe blue watercolor, the trees along Zaragoza Street and in Museum Plaza have been transformed into a surreal blue forest. ?? ? Special thanks to the Historic Pensacola and Foo Foo Festival for bringing this impactful installation to Pensacola! We encourage everyone to go experience The Blue Trees for yourself and reflect on this powerful message during Foo Foo Fest.
