I have worked with Danny Brooks for many years. He is a very insightful and creative person who, through discovery, is able to identify the “unique DNA attributes” of an organization and how that DNA translates to a compelling purpose and a culture of teamwork. When done well, this enables high-performance teams who are inspired and guided by common purpose and work together in a culture of trust, transparency and teamwork. sooo psyched to see Danny Brooks Penrose Annie Richmond’s article in Fast Company! we had an incredible time working together when they were my clients at Starbucks and it lights me up to see the company they cofounded elevates their amazing work to new heights…especially because we know the power of STORY. whether it’s understanding ur highs and lows or sharing where ideas came from (beyond making money), story reminds we’re all just human peeps on a journey, fighting a battle or scaling another mountain with yodas and darth vaders along the way. and that we can’t do the journey without each other. thx for being the epitome of going beyond by embodying ur own story Penrose!
