Pennsylvania Women in Public Finance

PA WPF had another fabulous Annual Event yesterday in Philadelphia! We first heard a timely economic update from Kali Aloisi from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and an inspirational fireside chat between our very own Board Member and the City of Philadelphia’s Treasurer Jacqueline Dunn and the City of Philadelphia Mayor’s Chief of Staff Tiffany W. Thurman. PA WPF then honored one of our founding Board Members Silvia Shin with the 12th Annual Leading Woman Award. Thank you to all that joined us! We look forward to what 2025 brings for the organization.

REQUEST FOR NOMINATIONS 12th Annual Leading Woman Award due by October 4, 2024 The Women in Public Finance Pennsylvania Chapter (PA WPF) is seeking nominations for its 12th Annual Leading Woman Award. The PA WPF Leading Woman Award honors a woman working in any role in the public finance industry in Pennsylvania who (a) has made a significant contribution to the public finance industry through either a singular action or over the course of her career, and (b) has displayed exemplary professional behavior and strong leadership skills which transcend her specific role (examples include mentoring and/or promoting the advancement of women). This award will be given out at our Annual Event in November. Nominations should be submitted on our website. Additional information may be requested for finalists selected from among all nominees.
