The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Annual Conference was held Friday, February 14th through Sunday, February 16th in Harrisburg, PA, and PPCN would like to thank the PPA team and each member pharmacy who had the ability to attend. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US, with those 75 and older most at risk. There are many factors that contribute to its development. Remind your patients of these lifestyle changes that may reduce their risk for heart disease: ?? Get plenty of sleep ?? Lower sodium and saturated fat ?? Maintain a healthy body weight ?? Avoid tobacco ?? Aim for 30 minutes of daily exercise
