Couldn’t have said it better ourselves! Excited to be a partner on this important work ??
Tonight. Was. Awesome. We dedicated a sculpture that the Chamber commissioned for our trailhead AND it was announced that Kane received the Creative Communitues Initiative grant from Pennsylvania Council on the Arts ?? It’s a 4 year, $25,000/year grant for arts in our community?????? I’m so proud of our town for embracing that arts and economic development can go together. And I’m super pumped for the next 4 years! Full heart tonight?? Pic of PA Council on the Arts staff Karl Blischke and Sarah Merritt, artists Jody and Sara Aiello, and me taking a moment during the community party after the sculpture dedication. ?? #art #communitydevelopment #economicdevelopment #grant #kanepa #rural #smalltown #revitalization
