The next member of the Tribute to Women of Excellence Class of 2025 is Debra McClain ?? Deb is the executive director of the Beacon Clinic For Health and Hope, which provides free primary care to uninsured residents of the Harrisburg area. She joined the clinic in 2018, bringing more than three decades of experience in insurance and financial services. She has helped grow the clinic and has also helped relocate it to a new facility. Deb's community involvement includes serving on the board of the Keystone Business Alliance from 2008-2014. She has also worked with Governor Wolf's Advisory Council for Energy, Business and Economic Development and currently serves as the board president of the Pennsylvania Charitable Healthcare Coalition. Puentes de Salud today announced it is among the awardees across the United States that received a grant from Direct Relief’s Fund for Health Equity, which mobilizes financial resources for organizations focused on non-clinical interventions that affect a person’s health. Commonly known as the social determinants of health, these factors include an individual’s physical, social, political, cultural, and economic environment.? ??
