Thank you, Bill Flanagan and WPXI-TV, for having our president, Justin Ladner, on Our Region's Business. We appreciate the opportunity to share some of the ways We Keep Life Flowing for our valued customers.
We're talking the business of #water on WPXI-TV's "Our Region's Business," Sunday at 11 on Channel 11, co-produced by the Allegheny Conference on Community Development. Justin Ladner, president of Pennsylvania American Water discusses the bottom-line benefits of #privatization and updates his ongoing program to get the #lead out of Pittsburgh's water system. #Mentorship is a key to the c-suite for high potential African American professionals, says The Advanced Leadership Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Founder Evan Frazier and Mentors Beth Codner and Jameeta Davis compare notes on mentoring and being mentored, and the difference it has and continue to have on their careers. What can sustain a #familybusiness into the fourth generation? Chuck Turner, Jr. of Turner Dairy and Robert Stein of Pitt's Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence says an entrepreneurial spirit is key. (How about some Chocolate Marshmallow Milk for the holidays?) We'll close out with the latest Regional Vitals and a tale of two economies (ours) with growing employment and a declining labor force.
