Elementary school gym class core memory unlocked ?? As we wrap up Child Life Month, see how our child life team participated in a two-day workshop with The Life is Good Playmaker Project highlighting the value of play. Certified child life specialists, certified therapeutic recreation specialists, child life assistants and registered art therapists explored concepts rooted in child development, psychology and trauma — focusing on the power of play, engagement and connection in supporting children and families. Play is more than just fun — it creates a sense of normalcy in unfamiliar experiences, helping children feel safe and supported during their care. ??
