?? Thrilled to share that our revitalization project at Hope & Bushwick Gardens received recognition at the prestigious 67th Annual New York Emmy Awards! The documentary film, "Hope Blooms in Bushwick", was honored, sharing the rich history of Bushwick, Brooklyn, and highlighting our journey to transform and breathe new life into this community. This award-winning piece captures the heart and resilience of a community and a project that has, together with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), reimagined 1,321 longstanding public housing units. Through the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, we've been able to secure long-term affordability, elevate living conditions, and ensure that Hope Gardens remains a source of strength, stability, and beauty in Bushwick. This accomplishment is a testament to the power of partnership and purpose, specifically with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Acacia Network and Wavecrest . We’re thrilled to be one step closer to creating Colorado's first LGBTQ-affirming affordable housing community for seniors! Located at the mixed-use York Street Yards in North Denver, the proposed project will create 75 much-needed, inclusive apartments for seniors at 30% to 80% of the Area Median Income. In partnership with The Center on Colfax, the initiative will provide high-quality housing and on-site supportive services for a population that has long faced increased rates of homelessness, housing discrimination, and isolation. The $87 million redevelopment will transform a former jail site into a 164-unit, mixed-use, energy-efficient community. With two mid-rise apartment buildings, four townhomes, and a central community building, Golden Hill will provide much-needed housing and on-site social services for families, seniors, and vulnerable communities, including households impacted by homelessness and domestic violence.
