Shout out to Behrend senior Kai Williams who was named a 2024-2025 PCAOB Scholar! A record 676 students from U.S. colleges and universities with accredited accounting programs have been awarded for the upcoming academic year. This is nearly double the number of awards given out last year. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 requires that the collection of PCAOB monetary penalties be used to fund a merit scholarship which has awarded over $10 million for the upcoming academic year. International Recycling Group (IRG), of Erie, PA is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to work closely with company leadership in the development of the company's first greenfield plastics recycling facility in Erie. The CFO will assist with developing the initial capitalization for the company, oversee disbursements during the construction phase, and will build financial forecasts for future growth with multiple plants. This sounds like a great opportunity for an ambitious leader with about 10 years of accounting experience.
