This past weekend, we closed out our first internship session at The Penalty Box, and it was amazing! We were lucky to meet and work with so many incredible individuals as well as build connections that will last a lifetime! We here at The Penalty Box can't wait for the next internship season this fall. Thank you to everyone who joined us whether an intern or supporter! Your passion, support dedication has made this first season an unforgettable one! Don’t worry though! We aren’t going anywhere! Exciting Update! We’re thrilled to share that our podcast has hit 40,000 listeners this past month of May! We couldn't have done it without everyone’s support, and we’re so grateful! ?? We also have continued to work alongside the incredible PWHL by attending more games during their FIRST EVER playoff season and being able to experience it all from the press box! We are so thankful to them for giving us amazing opportunities?? Over the past couple of weeks, our team at Penalty Box Podcast have had the incredible opportunity to work with the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and attend their historical first-ever playoff season! Last night, we had the privilege of watching another amazing game, and despite Boston getting shut out, the atmosphere was electric and the game was great! Being a part of this historic era for women's sports has been truly inspiring! A huge thank you to the PWHL for this amazing experience, we are so proud to support such a talented group of athletes and women and be a part of their journey! Just under a year ago, I started a podcast “The Penalty Box” just after turning 20. I was hoping to help hockey become more accessible to different audiences but only thought a handful of people would listen in. Less than a year later and we are not just a podcast. We now are on every social media platform, provide short term articles, video content, graphics, merchandise, and of course- the Penalty Box podcast! I never imagined we'd come this far, let alone this fast and I am so beyond thankful! Some milestones I'm proud about: * Working with the PWHL during their 1st playoff season and witnessing history ?? * Hitting an average of 30,000 listeners per month on our podcast! ?? * Growing our Instagram family to 20,000 strong and growing every day! * Being followed and appreciated by incredible people in the industry What really makes me extra proud is my incredible team behind The Penalty Box. These amazing women not only excel in their roles but also foster an incredible work environment. This is as cliche as it gets but they are more than co-workers; they are family! Their passion and dedication makes every day exciting…It also might be exciting because we we are an entire team of women passionate about sports ?? ? Thank you ladies for everything that you do and thank you to my right hand women Lorelai Hilarczyk Alexis Caines Donnah Campbell Delaney Rimer and the rest of my incredible team that works around the clock! We had the incredible opportunity to be in the press box for the PWHL game tonight, witnessing PWHL Boston's advancement to the Walter Cup Final! ???
