A New Era for Nano Coatings in India! Pellucere Technologies has reached a major milestone with the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Chakan, Maharashtra, India on February 24, 2025. This is India’s first dedicated nano coatings plant for antireflective and anti-soiling coatings, supporting the growing demand for high-performance glass in solar, architectural, and automotive applications. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of Nirmal Simon – Managing Director – and his entire Pellucere India team. Their hard work and commitment made this vision a reality. We were honored to celebrate this milestone with our valued customers, including Borosil, Gold Plus, and many others, alongside our trusted vendors, partners, and employees. What This Means for India ? Increased Production Capacity – 8,500 metric tons annually for coatings used in solar panels, retrofit solar, architectural glass, mirrors, glass partitions, and automotive glass. ? Diverse and Innovative Product Offerings – Advanced coatings including anti-reflective, anti-soiling, hydrophobic, hydrophilic, photocatalytic self-cleaning, and anti-fog technologies. ? Local Manufacturing Advantage – Faster delivery, dedicated technical support, and a stronger, more efficient supply chain. India’s solar market is rapidly growing, expected to reach USD 24.9 billion by 2030. With this new facility, Pellucere Technologies is investing in India’s future, helping manufacturers improve efficiency, durability, and sustainability across multiple industries.
