Pelham Plastics is looking for a Technical Sales Representative for the Eastern United States. Position Overview: The Technical Sales Representative is instrumental in driving Pelham Plastics’ growth within the Eastern USA. This role blends technical expertise with relationship-building skills to meet and exceed sales targets. You’ll partner closely with our engineering team and customers, delivering solutions that align with our reputation for excellence in the medical device sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Sales Strategy: Identify, qualify, and prioritize new opportunities within the medical device sector, aligning with company objectives and customer needs. Account Management: Cultivate relationships with strategic accounts and key stakeholders, uncovering additional needs and growth opportunities. Consultative Selling: Conduct sales meetings, present tailored solutions, and negotiate contracts effectively. Quotation Development: Collaborate with engineering to create compelling, accurate, and timely project proposals. Industry Representation: Represent Pelham Plastics at trade shows and promotional events to expand brand presence. Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution. What You Bring: Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience required; a technical or business-related degree preferred. Experience: 5+ years in technical sales, ideally in the medical device industry or a related field. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. Proficiency in Excel and CRM/project management software. Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips. Special Skills: Ability to thrive in a solution-based, consultative sales environment.
