Wayfarer - the hotel operator tenant of some of the hotels owned by Pegasus was featured by the Hong Kong local press etnet經濟通 today. 1. Yes - even at 30% room occupancies during COVID, our hotels were profitable because of Wayfarer's unique operating ethos. Our competition down the street either had to shut down and furlough staff or run out of business. 2. Yes - many hotels still have a '60 year old experienced hotelier GM' running their pricing strategies manually each day with a rainbow color coded, 365,000 cell excel file to determine how much to charge guests for each booking while the whole world is talking about DX, UX, AI and automation. The portfolio assets were acquired at a large discount below its appraised value March 28: Successful cash out refinancing for ORI Kyoto and ORI Rokkaku; distressed hotel assets acquired in 2021 for Opportunistic II with over 60% LTP. The newly appraised value is higher than our original purchase price. Over 50% of proceeds were distributed to LPs.
