Determined to make a difference, he and his sons built "Team Andra" to honor her memory, rallying friends, family, and colleagues to join the fight. Over the past decade, their efforts through the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s PurpleStride walk have raised over $500,000 to combat this devastating disease. This is the 12th year for the DAV 5K (www.dav5k.org) which engaged 4,000+ runners last year in Cincinnati and virtually. Launched in 2022, more than 550 groups and individuals nationwide have already signed up to create outdoor or indoor displays through the Field of Flags program.?(www.dav.org/flags)?
