关于我们
Founded in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest hospital in eastern Suffolk County, and the Eastern Hub of Northwell Health, the largest healthcare organization in New York State. As a not-for-profit 200-bed community hospital, we serve as the primary resource for advanced healthcare services for the 250,000+ residents of the Riverhead area, eastern central Suffolk County, and Long Island's North Fork. We provide our service area's only Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Suite, Level III Trauma Center, and NYS-Designated Stroke Center. In addition to a network of community-based primary care and specialist physician offices, we also operate a 60-bed 5-star-rated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, Suffolk County's largest certified home health agency, and a community-based ambulatory and urgent care campus in Manorville, NY. We also host and sponsor well-regarded internship and residency programs as a major clinical campus for the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Long Island's largest JRCERT-accredited school of radiologic technology, affiliated with SUNY Empire State College.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2nd annual Sweet Dreams Pastry Chef Competition & Wine Tasting Event! It was incredible to watch top chefs from across Long Island compete in a dessert competition judged by a panel of culinary experts at the Inn & Spa at East Wind in Wading River. We welcomed over 100 guests and raised almost $12,000 to support the hospital’s Emilie Roy Corey Center for Women and Infants and Breast Health Programs! Our executive chef, Chris Singlemann, led the way as chefs crafted themed chocolate masterpieces while competing in categories for the healthiest, most creative, and best overall dessert. We were touched by their passion for nutrition, delicious food, and supporting local healthcare for all women in Eastern Suffolk County.
