Our passion for our community, history, and preserving buildings for future generations was captured in another Old Town Bluffton project, The Joiner House. The Biggest Lie in Business: "It's Just Business" Scott Beebe, a great mentor of mine, tackles this lie in his book 'Let Your Business Burn'. Scott makes the argument that business and life will intersect and that they are continually connected. This idea sparked the beginning of our Shoreline Construction dinners. We've been hosting these dinners for a little over six months now, and they've been a tremendous hit. It's not just because we hoped to see a spike in new business (though that would be great), but because for two hours, we can have genuine conversations with our clients and project partners. Often times the conversation is more focused on family and life rather than the classic 'small talk' business updates.
