?? Finally, we have received the trophy for winning the?1st Annual European Corporate Venture Capital Award in the Manufacturing/Chemicals/Materials category!??? This prestigious apprecitation was awarded at the Wolves Summit on March 27, 2024, in Berlin.?We are so proud and happy to be able to celebrate this award with the whole team,?now! What set us apart was our holistic approach, encompassing startup investments, venture clienting, and our ExploreLab.? We have been active with the K?rcher New Venture unit since 2017 and have now carried out >10 direct startup investments in our narrow focus shaping the cleaning industry, always with the clear mandate to accompany this directly through strategic cooperation. We are proud to contribute to the development of the cleaning industry with our portfolio startups and to develop new technologies, business models and markets together. Continuing my series on the path to human-capable robots, today I've stepped back a little bit to share my thoughts on how to build or identify really great robotics startups. Robotics is and will continue to be a hot space for investment. We're at a really exciting time in the robotics field as we see both an imperative to automate given the headwinds in the labor markets, combined with the rapid evolution of AI.
