Peanut Butter and Jelly Ministries

We supply food to Veterans, Senior Citizens and those in need. We do a food give away monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month open to all in need. We average 325 families rain or shine. Take emergency food to those in need. Once a week we take hot/cold meals and toiletries to 30 homeless. (Donations allowing.) We keep our overhead low with 98% of all donations returning to the community. There are no paid employees we are strictly volunteers. We are a donation based non-profit. Are not affiliated with any church or any other group. We have found such a large need of food for our Veterans and Seniors. Example 1: A phone call from a lady asking us to take food to a neighbor that was eating cat food because she could not afford food and pay her bills. This lady was so proud and would not take the food. We came back and left it on her porch. She now lets us bring her food once a month. Example 2: It was brought to our attention that several Senior Citizens including many Veterans in a senior mobile home park were having problems having enough food through out the month. We now take fresh produce and other food to help each of them get through. Why would you want the people that formed and protected our country to go without a basic need?
