A special thank you to Dr. Scott Rheinschmidt for guiding our entire team through Tai Chi exercises this past Monday! Dr. Rheinschmidt took over our weekly team meeting to help us prepare for the upcoming busy season and get us in great shape to see clients this week. Tai Chi is a wonderful mind-body exercise that involves deep breathing, meditation, specific movements, and mental focus. The combination of focus and movement can have a positive impact on mental health by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. It is also really fun! Give it a try and let us know what you think. Thank you Scott Paul Rheinschmidt Ph.D. LPC-S! We look forward to another lesson soon.

Join us in welcoming Elizabeth Walker, LCSW to our team. Liz is a therapist in our Aurora location who also sees clients all over Colorado through telehealth. She is a warm and quirky therapist who works to create a compassionate and affirmative space for folks so they can share their experiences and work towards personal goals. She believes that change begins with self awareness and fosters the use of mindfulness, curiosity and psychoeducation to help clients build confidence in understanding how they interact with themselves, their environment and their social systems. Liz comes from a background working in DBT and with in-home populations and enjoys working with adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, BPD, relationship problems, addiction and grief. She engages clients in building confidence and building a positive self-identity, by increasing regulation skills, building healthy relationships and gaining insight into ineffective coping strategies. Welcome Liz, we are so glad you are here!
