He set out to change that—creating meals rooted in the bold, rich flavors of Haiti, all starting with the heart of every dish: épis (meaning “spice” in French creole). ????? épis’s mission is to bring you a taste of home—or introduce you to a new favorite. His visual identity is a burst of culture, color, and excitement, just like their food! When Steve came to us, he had literally no idea how to work with a designer or what was involved. Silhouettes traditionally used to be made when a child would sit while their profile was cut out of a black paper stock by the artist, then carefully adhered to a white paper before framing. I'm really loving seeing my digital silhouettes featured in vintage frames how they used to be displayed! This frame features one of the Whitehead children purchased by their dad for their mom. These make GREAT Mother's Day gifts- order before May 12!
