Please help us welcome our newest Peach!! Deepti Rastogi MD, FAAP-Board certified pediatrician! ?? Dr. Rastogi will be working at our North Sacramento clinic. We asked her about her primary focus and specialties. She shared, "My primary focus is providing comprehensive pediatric care from birth to 18 years including routine well checks, managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions following the most current pediatric guidelines. With almost 10 years of experience in outpatient pediatrics in high risk communities, I am passionate about providing the best care tailored to the unique needs of each child. " When we asked her what interested in Peach Tree, she stated, "I was drawn to Peachtree because of its commitment to provide high quality, accessible healthcare to children and families in the community." Finally, we asked Dr. Rastogi about her professional goals at Peach, she explained, "My goal is to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive. I aim to build lasting relationships with my patients and families, empowering them with the knowledge and resources they need to make the best health decisions for their child to be happy and healthy!" She is currently available via virtual care and will be moving to our Yuba City clinic in the future. We asked Lyndsay what her primary focus of care is, she shared, "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Anger Management, Eating Disorders, Eating Disorders." When we asked what interested her in Peach Tree, she stated, "I have had the opportunity to work in diverse settings, including outpatient programs, residential facilities, a mental hospital, and community-based programs. Peach Tree Health represents a unique environment for me, as it provides a lower level of care with a more integrated approach. This is a departure from my previous experiences, and I believe it would be an excellent environment for professional growth and learning." Finally, we asked Lynsday about her goal of treatment at Peach Tree, she shared, "My goal is to broaden my expertise across various therapeutic modalities and to work with diverse populations, as I believe this will enhance my versatility as a practitioner. Additionally, I am eager to deepen my understanding of an integrated approach by collaborating with other providers, which I feel is essential for delivering comprehensive, holistic care. "I was interested in Peach Tree Health because of the incredible care they provide for the most marginalized and underserved communities in the region. Peach Tree is mission-driven and seeks to improve the health of their patients and communities and serve them, despite their circumstances. These are values I sought in my practice, and I feel very lucky to have found a place like Peach!" When we asked her about her primary focus of care, she shared, "My practice focuses on treatment and prevention of disease in the adult population. I enjoy taking care of patients with complex medical and social histories and being able to help them navigate the complicated health care system." And the goal of your medical practice at Peach? "The goal of my practice and the reason I went into adult primary care is to not just prevent disease and build long-lasting relationships with my patients but also to empower patients to understand and feel in control of their health. I want to be a provider they can trust, who will take the time to answer questions and work closely with them on their journey to better health." Founded in 1991, Peach Tree Healthcare (Peach Tree) is a community-based nonprofit healthcare provider serving parts of Butte, Colusa, Sacramento, Sutter, and Yuba counties in north-central California. Peach Tree operates eight service delivery sites, one mobile health unit, and one mobile dental clinic. Peach Tree became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 2006. Peach Tree offers a wide range of medical, behavioral health, dental, and vision services across the lifespan, with a focus on individuals with incomes at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG), many who face poverty, unemployment, low levels of education attainment, and other detrimental drivers of health that inhibit access to care.
