Peabody is proud to announce 34 winners?elected to represent the most compelling and empowering stories released in broadcasting, streaming, and interactive media during 2023. Peabody previously announced two other specialty awards. Mel Brooks?was named winner of the Peabody Career Achievement Award while?Quinta Brunson?won the Peabody Trailblazer Award. The winners of the 84th annual #PeabodyAwards will be celebrated on Sunday, June 9 at a ceremony at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.?The ceremony will be hosted by?Kumail Nanjiani, the Oscar-nominated writer and Emmy-nominated actor and comedian. Peabody is thrilled to announce seven new members to our Board of Jurors and this year’s board chair Wonya Lucas. Peabody winners are selected by unanimous vote through in person deliberations by our diverse board of media and storytelling veterans. We are excited for these new members to join our board and help decide the best stories of the year.
