The Presidential Delivery Unit is delighted to support the work of our colleagues at the upcoming Investing in African Mining Indaba. Speaking across a variety of sessions, the Zambian delegation will work to promote the positive work we are doing to enhance production, generate jobs and create opportunities thanks to the mining sector. Mining is one of the core focuses of our work at the PDU, working to increase copper production to 3 million tonnes per annum by 2031. As part of the presidential priority to bolster food security, members of the Zambia Defence Forces have been redeployed to agricultural production sites. PDU Efficient Value Chains Delivery Manager Jones Mulunga recently visited one such farm in Northern Province, managed by the Zambia Air Force (ZAF).
