Supporting American Veterans is at the core of our mission. Today, we're excited to share that we're partnering with Honor Flight Network. This national partnership will enable 25 Veterans to experience an unforgettable trip to Washington D.C., where they will connect with other Veterans from across our nation and visit memorials that were created in their honor. This decision was not easy, as there are SO many great organizations that support the military and Veteran communities. After months of discussions with various organizations, as well as internal feedback from our PDS team, we felt that our mission, core?values and our ability to create a positive impact on the Veteran community, aligned best with Honor Flight Network. We thrilled this partnership is about to take flight and cannot wait to create an unforgettable experience for those that bravely served our country. ???? ?? ?? PDS Optical Spirt Week continues ?? When our delightfully talented team brainstorms themes and ideas for Sprit Week, we listen. "Wear your pajamas to work day" was one such theme that came to life earlier this week. It's awesome to see this group come up with ideas and rally around the various themes they want to bring to life. Is it possible to do GREAT work, ENJOY the people you work with and have some FUN? Yes, we believe it is. ??

Spreading the word - important updates for VA heath care and benefits below.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced today that it will provide veterans additional time to transition to a new online login system that lets them more quickly and securely access information about their VA health care and benefits. In July, VA announced a phase out of My HealtheVet and DS Logon sign-in options, in favor of two new options, Login.gov and ID.me, which will help the department offer stronger protections for veterans, families and caregivers. With today’s announcement, VA is extending the final deadline by which veterans and beneficiaries can log in to VA.gov, VA mobile applications and other VA online services using their My HealtheVet username and password from Jan. 31, 2025, to March 4, 2025. The deadline to switch from DS Logon to ID.me or Login.gov remains Sept. 30, 2025. Most VA beneficiaries are already using Login.gov and ID.me to access My HealtheVet and other VA digital services, but VA will use this additional time to ensure as many veterans and beneficiaries as possible make the switch before the old My HealtheVet username and password system is retired March 4. Spreading the word...
DIRECTOR, P&L MANAGEMENT Driving remarkable results through dynamic foresight, strategy, and leadership
Important update for the #veteran community: In 2025, veterans can expect a 2.5% increase in disability compensation rates. I think back to watching my dad separate from the military and as I learned about disability he had 30% disability after 24 years in the US Army. He jumped out of airplanes and served in #vietnam. In today's disability world 30% is an insult to the injuries he sustained. I remember talking to him about his disability and the changes in VA and he said that times changed. When he got out he didn't think about disability. He did a job. He signed up for that job. The things sustained along the way were simply part of that decision. What a different mentality than today's world. I admire his thoughts and commitment to his decisions. He passed away before ever being able to update his disability and passed away from a disease caused by the military. However, proposed changes under Project 2025 might tighten eligibility and reduce benefits for some. It's crucial to stay informed and proactive about these developments. Let’s support each other through these changes! Reach out to professional organizations such as DAV (Disabled American Veterans), Still Serving Veterans, Student Veterans of America, and many others for help with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. As a veteran I know the struggle and process we all face every day in a very heavy handed organization such as the VA. #rtxvets
