Thank you to all of the graduate and undergraduate students from the local universities that presented their incredible product ideas during the 8th Annual PDMA Pittsburgh Chapter Student Pitch Competition on November 21st. Teams from Carnegie Mellon University, Chatham University, Duquesne University, Robert Morris University, and the University of Pittsburgh did a amazing job with their product pitches, making it extremely difficult for the judges to select the winners. The winning teams walked away with cash prizes. They were also able to select two mentoring opportunties from local companies who are donating their time to the students. The PDMA Pittsburgh Chapter Mindful Improv Thinking Workshop that took place last night was such a fun, engaging, and informative event. Special thanks to Andrea Flack-Wetherald, Founder and President of The Center for Mindful Improv Thinking, for explaining how all of life is impov and how improv skills are life skills.
