Did you know PDM has provided approximately 2,500 tons of structural steel for the first phase of the Des Moines International Airport terminal? Working alongside our erection partner, Northwest Steel Erection this transformative project is set to enhance travel for the state of Iowa and surrounding region. We’re excited to be part of this major milestone for Des Moines and look forward to seeing the impact it will have on the community and travelers alike!

PDM celebrates Women in Construction Week?, recognizing the talented women of PDM and the impact of NAWIC in supporting and empowering women in the industry. We recently welcomed NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) for an exclusive tour of our steel plant. Attendees got an inside look at our fabrication process and the work that goes into steel production. The visit also featured a hands-on welding training session, where participants suited up and learned the basics from our skilled team. PDM is proud to be a part of Kemin Industries’ Central Warehouse project, providing 10,395 square feet of insulated precast wall panels, 2,957 square feet of interior panels and 691 tons of structural, joist, and miscellaneous steel.
