i’m verrrrry late to the SXSW posting party, but it was meaty for so many reasons besides the ribs.
it def delivered on its rep of being a beautiful messy mix of VC/startup frenzy, tech nerdiness, marketing creativity, influencer/creator contenting, and film & music parties, performances, and dealmaking.
that's pretty much modern culture. it's also the types of peeps, passions, and partnerships we combine to make culturally resonant creative work for our clients at Public Display of Affection (PDA).
please enjoy this affectionately name-droppy recap of the old and new friends i met over panels, drinks, and delicious food in austin... ??
i started with some red state standup at comedy mothership, with my bud Scott Jay Kaplan, who intro’d me to his cool film friends and Margot Edelman! you've got great taste in restaurants, margot. and electronic music.
