However, alongside this growth in connectivity, the state is facing critical workforce needs. With a projected requirement for 2,700 additional workers due to a decade of workforce attrition, addressing these needs is essential for the successful rollout of the funding. ?? Growing Workforce Demand: ? Construction Workers: Massachusetts needs to add 200 field trades workers (helpers, linemen, splicers, etc.) between 2025 and 2032 to support broadband infrastructure. ?
