Providence College competes in 11 women’s and 8 men’s varsity sports, all at the Division I level, with membership in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the BIG EAST Conference, and the Hockey East Association. The following teams compete in The BIG EAST Conference: men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, softball, men’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, women’s tennis, field hockey, men’s and women’s cross country and indoor/outdoor track. The men’s and women’s ice hockey teams compete in the HOCKEY EAST Association.

It was a fascinating and inspiring panel discussion with Rich Gotham '86, Erin Batth and Kim English moderated by PC's athletic director Steve Napolillo '98. ? It was a wonderful community event that kicked-off the launch of our brand new, fully online, Master of Science in Sports Administration.
