Modern affordable housing is coming to downtown #ManchesterNH. ?? ? The design of this property takes cues from adjacent buildings and the urban context of the site. ? Currently under construction, The Residences at Chestnut has two buildings underway, with a 3rd planned as a future phase. The completed project will add 186 units of affordable housing, including 30 units to house homeless veterans. ? This project is one of the largest investments by a private real estate developer in Manchester history. And one of the largest affordable housing developments in New Hampshire. ?? Lincoln Avenue Communities ? The base is brick, which visually anchors the building and ties it to the neighborhood’s existing brick and mortar existing structures.
