pb2 architecture + engineering is excited to announce our latest regional project, a new Harps Food Stores project in Conway, Arkansas. Peter Breninger, pb2 project architect, shared insights on what sets this project apart and how our partnership is evolving. Harps’ locations are designed to feel like a local market, “These stores are smaller and more focused,†he shared. “The intention is to cater to the specific community while providing the staple items everyone expects, making each store feel like it truly belongs in the town. The result is a space that integrates the familiar aesthetic of Harps while respecting local standards. “We wanted the store to complement the surroundings and connect authentically to Conway,†Peter added.
While the #Conway location is our first project with Harps, our team is now working on a total of four stores for them across the region. For pb2 architecture + engineering, designing for Harps is more than creating a functional space—it’s about fostering connections within each community. This partnership highlights our dedication to creating thoughtful, adaptable designs that resonate locally, and we look forward to supporting clients who share this community-focused vision.
Currently, we are in the early phases of construction for the Conway store, with an expected completion this Spring. As the building progresses, we look forward to sharing updates on this exciting project.
