    Many thanks to those who have found ways to support our community here in Western NC. A BIG SHOUT OUT to our friends at Payformance Partners and Marc Mullis. Marc and I have been colleagues and friends for most of my HR career. He and his team delivered big yesterday - they delivered relief supplies from Charlotte. We distributed them to our Craft HR team to distribute in our home communities where things like drinking water, ready-to-eat meals, and pet food are in short supply or difficult to acquire. Pictured below is a neighbor's garage where we are staging supplies for re-distribution to donation centers or directly to those in need. Less than 4 hours after we placed supplies there, they were picked up and distributed to neighboring communities with people having difficulty accessing distribution sites and workers on the front lines of rescue and recovery. There are thousands of stories of loss - lost loved ones, homes, livelihoods. There are still active searches for those missing. An incredible level of support is needed for this region to survive and recover. Many remain without power and water a week after the storm, despite the massive efforts underway to restore everything. Cell services and internet are returning but are still spotty in many places.
