  • Last week, our amazing team had the honor of attending the Assistance Dogs International (ADI) Conference! ???? It was an inspiring week filled with learning, collaboration, and growth, as several members of the PAWS team took the stage to share their expertise with hundreds of Assistance Dog professionals from around the world. ?? And of course, TANGO and BLAZER were there to put their Assistance Dog skills to the test, showcasing just how dedicated and skilled these pups truly are. ???     This week, a group of corporate volunteers toured Paws With A Cause's headquarters in Wayland, MI, which is currently under renovation in an effort to modernize its facilities and increase the organization's ability to inspire independence among those with disabilities. Once complete, the new facility will feature more ADA accessible spaces, an upgraded vet clinic and other enhancements–such as curbs, wheelchair ramps, weighted doors, elevator buttons, and more–designed to resemble everyday life and improve the training of its service dogs. Together the Masco team covered the walls of the soon-to-be puppy training apartments with BEHR? paint. The group also had lunch with PAWS' CEO and team members, who provided insight into all it takes to run their operations. Thanks to the PAWS team for having us (and breaking training protocol for a short while so puppy snuggles could be had).
