Today, we honor the lives lost and the countless heroes who responded with bravery in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Many of these brave men and women, including veterans who served in the wars that followed, continue to bear the emotional scars of that fateful day. Paws For Purpose is committed to supporting those affected by PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other challenges that often result from such trauma. Our service dogs provide critical emotional and physical assistance to veterans, first responders, and individuals impacted by mental health challenges. We believe in the healing power of canine companionship, and through our program, we offer these highly trained dogs to those in need at no cost, empowering them to reclaim their independence and mental well-being.
