Given the recent devastating hurricanes in our home state of Florida, we felt it important to point out the following: a lot of solar canopy manufacturers make claims about being able to withstand wind speeds of 170 or even over 200mph!! Unlike other companies, we actually provide engineering proof of our 180mph / 75psf uplift rating that is compliant with Florida Building Code in High Velocity Hurricane Zones. These full structure Finite Element Analyses were done with our collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories as finalists in the American Made Solar Prize. The EnPods are built to withstand major hurricanes in the real world, not just marketing hype!
