Pavarini ensures that safety goes beyond the job site. Our Norwalk project team took an important step in protecting lives by hosting a Narcan training and safety stand down. With the help of Liberation Programs, Inc., we're making sure our workers have access to life-saving resources. #Safety360
Earlier this month, our team in Norwalk, CT held a safety stand down for Narcan training and distributed life-saving nasal spray kits to all workers. During lunch, Liberation Programs, Inc., an organization that provides treatment and prevention services for substance use and mental health disorders, was on site to explain the signs of an overdose and demonstrate how to use Narcan nasal spray in such instances. The construction industry has the second-highest rate of pain medication/opioid misuse in the U.S., and we remain committed to preparing our staff for all types of workplace accidents. #Safety360 #SafetyFirst

Leo Hall, the original engineering building, underwent a partial renovation that included a 30,000sf new addition, while the Higgins Engineering and Science Center was constructed next door.
